SF/UTP CAT5e cables, generally referred to as LAN cables, are widely used twisted-pair network cables for local area network transmission. The SF/UTP cable features a double-layer shielding structure consisting of inner aluminum foil shielding and outer copper braided shielding. Unlike conventional shielded cables, this structure does not require an extra independent drain wire. The external copper braided mesh possesses great toughness and remarkable anti-breaking performance when bent and installed. It can directly work as the drainage conductor matching the inner aluminum foil shielding layer. If the aluminum foil layer suffers cracking or breakage caused by extrusion, bending and other construction conditions, the copper braided mesh can still maintain continuous electrical connection with the aluminum foil. It effectively preserves the integrity of the whole shielding system, suppresses external electromagnetic interference, and guarantees stable gigabit signal transmission for various network connection scenarios.
